Functional Capacity Evaluation

Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE)

Used to determine an injured worker's current functional abilities, FCE's utilize evidence-based practices, based on the best available research and the clinical expertise of our skilled therapists. Strive's therapists draw on years of experience in industrial rehabilitation to develop the FCE. In addition, regular communication with referral sources aid in claim progression.

Work Conditioning

A skilled program of 1 hour of physical therapy + 1 hour of occupational therapy (2 hour sessions), for 3-5 days a week for 4-6 weeks.

This program helps the injured worker to progress strength, range of motion, endurance, functional abilities and confidence with the goal of returning to the job of injury or improve overall vocational options. Treatment focuses on strength training, balance training, job simulation, body mechanics training and overall endurance training.

Work Hardening

A skilled program consisting of a combination of physical therapy and occupational therapy for 4 hours a day, with progression to 6-8 hours a day, 3-5 days per week, over a 3-4 week period.

Work hardening is a job-specific training program that incorporates work simulation, safety, work pacing techniques, education in body mechanics and job modification, work behavior assessment, strength training, balance training and overall functional endurance training.

Physical Therapy

The focus of physical therapy is mobilization to the injured area with progression of strengthening to the region and functional retraining and job simulation. Programs are individualized for each patient to meet them at their level, whether returning to the goal of gardening, job of injury or to the football field.

Hand Therapy

Hand therapy includes everything from the shoulder to the finger tips! We can help you with symptoms caused by injuries, traumas, and chronic disorders.

We provide non-operative interventions, as well as prevention therapy and post-surgical rehabilitation.

Using a variety of therapeutic interventions, the goal of hand therapy is to return you to your highest level of function.

Massage Therapy

Our Massage Therapist works with our clients in various stages of injured worker rehabilitations, as well as clients in need of personal wellness.
