About Strive

Striving for excellence in physical therapy and occupational therapy for injuries at work and at play.

What we DO.

Strive Physical Rehabilitation offers a broad range of occupational and physical therapy services, including Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs), Work Conditioning, Work Hardening, Physical Therapy and Hand Therapy.  Strive specializes in the personalized care of injured workers, athletes and personal injury clients. We provide individualized treatment plans, tailored to each client’s unique requirements, and provide an encouraging and fun environment while challenging each client to succeed.

Our dedicated team has a passion for industrial rehabilitation and with almost 45 combined years of experience in the field, we are excited about providing quality, evidence-based care in a personalized environment.

Our GOAL.

Our goal is to aid injured workers and our other patients back to their life – at work and at play – in a positive and caring environment.

Teri Jo Lientz, DPT, MPT, ATC

Physical Therapist, Owner
B.S. in Psychology from the University of Washington, Masters in Physical Therapy from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and Doctorate in Physical Therapy from University of Montana.
Washington State Labor & Industries (L&I) Representative for PTWA.
Member of Work Rehabilitation Guideline Subcommittee for L&I-Jan. 2020-present.
Member of Physical Medicine stakeholder work group for L&I - 2017-present.
Northwestern University Physical Therapy Human and Movement Sciences Alumni Board of Directors - April 2016-present.

Physical Therapist for 24 years in the fields of outpatient sports medicine and work rehabilitation.

Board certified athletic trainer, assisting with local high school football and sports teams with emphasis on concussion programs.

Combined skills in manual therapy, sports therapy/athletic training and evidence-based practice to support the injured worker in gaining function, strength and confidence.

Julie Milasich, OTR/L, CHT

Occupational Therapist
B.A. in Psychology and Masters in Occupational Therapy from the University of Puget Sound.

Certified hand therapist since 2006, working with traumatic and repetitive strain injuries to the hands and upper extremities.

Occupational Therapist since 2000 with additional experience in the acute care hospital and skilled nursing settings.

Focus on client education, with the goal of helping clients understand their recovery and the often confusing return to work process.​

​Julie Gostin, OTR/L, CHT

​Occupational Therapist
B.A. in Occupational Therapy Cum Laude from San Jose State University in 1997.

Primary focus has been Hand Therapy with Certification achieved in 2002.

Other clinical interests include Gerontology as it relates to hand function.

I have been living and working in Washington State since June of 2006.

National Board Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with over 7 years experience in the medical field.​

Soma Bodywork Practitioner; Neuromuscular Integration and Somassage from Soma Institute - Buckley, WA, 2001

Experience working in skilled nursing, hand therapy, massage therapy and injured workers.                                                                                                                                                      
Focused specialties include deep tissue manual therapy and fine/gross motor functional movement/strengthening to facilitate increased independence and improved mobility.

                               Physical Therapist Assistant
Associates of Applied Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant, Olympic College, 2019

Extensive background in sports and leadership education. Previously employed as a backcountry guide and instructor for close to 15 years.

Focused on helping you recover from your injuries while breaking through barriers and gaining independence. Clinical interest include functional strengthening, manual therapy and gait training using evidence-based practice.

Plays soccer at many different levels including the Olympic Development Program, loves to ski, kayak and hike in spare time. Go Sounders!
